Chilliwack Elite Cheer Non Profit Association Who Are We? CECC is a non profit organization. We are currently registered under the Society Act of BC and are committed to promoting and enhancing the sport of cheer in the community of Chilliwack and surrounding areas.

 

Our Mission

• To promote and enhance the sport of cheerleading in the community and surrounding areas of Chilliwack.
• To carry on activities to promote and enhance meaningful parent participation with their atheltes as well as mentor and train them to be able to take on leadership roles within the community and their sport .
  

Governed by a volunteer board of directors elected annually by the membership. Managed by a committed full-time staff of coaches, trainers and administrators. Assisted by contract workers and volunteers.

• CECC represents a membership of athletes from the community.
• We receive funding from the Gaming Policy & Enforcement Branch, advertising, sponsorship, and localized fundraising.
• We work to ensure that parents have a voice in their children's training and progress.
• We work to ensure that the cheer community of Chilliwack has a voice within the BC Cheerleading Association and remains focused on the needs of the children.
• We support parents as they work to introduce and encourage their children in participating in the sport of cheerleading.
• We work to support and promote the athletic skills as well as safety of cheerleading in the community and are committed to providing a safe environment for athletes to express their skills and abilities.
• We encourage our athletes to excel not only in their own skills but also as teams and promote sportsmanship, commitment and leadership by teaching them to become good role models in all areas of their daily lives in the community.
